Fine Art Painter in Southeastern Pennsylvania
Becky Brams is a self-taught fine art painter in Southeastern Pennsylvania who enjoys colors and abstraction. She is also a mixed media artist using acrylic and watercolor paint to depict abstract subjects, stunning landscapes, and more. Although she has no art degrees, she has taken neighborhood and community art classes.
Her most popular painting features bicycles. This piece came about when she was advised during one of her art classes to produce multiple images. She eventually decided to paint bicycles in different vibrant colors. Another one of her popular pieces is entitled Development.

Sources of Inspiration
Becky gets ideas for her abstract and landscape paintings from the things she sees and photographs she has taken. Her work Reflections was created by looking at reflections, while her painting Piranhas was inspired by seeing her son feed his piranhas guppy fish. She is also inspired to try various artistic directions whenever she paints and takes classes with other artists.
Painting Process
It takes a week or two for Becky to create one of her landscape or abstract paintings. She usually focuses on one piece at a time, sometimes two. However, she rarely does more because she becomes engrossed in perfecting her current project. She constantly retouches her work and compares her process to an author who rewrites their manuscript to create a literary masterpiece.
